VR4 iii hse

VR4 iii hse

Hello all,

I just found this group, and joined AC--so my first post. Anyway, I've owned a pair of vr4 hse's for a couple of years and have been astonished at their dynamic range. I bought mine 2nd hand, and suspect they're 2002-3 vintage. Just curious about how they've been holding up for the rest of you? Any problems? Have any of you ventured inside the socks? Thanks.

Have no problems what so ever, speakers have workt perfectly since day one.

Plenty of rock and roll.

No problems here. Though I am seriously considering of upgrading them to the VR5 anniversary level.

FYI: Found that the Aerogel midrange developed small "cracks" along the outside edges and both had to be replaced...No charge of course...Vocals started to sound a bit "coarse" and had a bit of "buzz"... :thumb:
