My first Sonny's "The Bridge". Interesting CD release from Fresh Sound Records. Nice combo of Sonny and Jim Hall. All tunes from initial release of "The Bridge", plus four from Sonny's "What's New". This is all the tracks that Sonny and Hall recorded, so not all tracks from "What's New" are included. This is great stuff, except for the vocals (would have preferred without).

The first Lager (an IPL actually, yes, not IPA, but IPL, "L" = Lager) I've liked. Normally I do not enjoy lagers, but leave it to Founders to produce an excellent example. Best lager I've ever had, but also likely the last one. Still not one of my favorite brew styles.

The Bridge is tremendous! Great spins Rocka! :thumb:

My wife bought me a Gordon Biersch Fall Sampler 12 Pack with a Märzen, Blonde Bock, Czech Style Pilsner and Octoberfest. I'm really impressed by this beer. Normally I drink European Brews. There were a lot of very good breweries up in Flagstaff & Williams, AZ that I visited this last weekend.

Cool CB. Flagstaff is cool. AZ was my top choice to relocate - such a cool state. My wife's first choice was GA. So of course, here I am in the south. Maybe some day ...

Flagstaff is pretty neat, but man was it busy! Bumper to bumper. All the kids were in town (at school). Very nice town though with many great brewpubs. The outskirts of town is real nice, but they do get plenty of snow. Prescott would be ideal, just a dusting of snow, but on the pricey side. I was an inner city slicker in Chicago for 45 years. I moved here in Mesa 14 years ago. I really like Arizona, I'd never go back.
