I've tried asking thru the Von Schweikert website and have not received any response, so I thought I'd ask here.
I have a pair of VR-4 Gen II's that our rescue kitty has decided to remove the lower port foam because she thinks it helps the bass response. I'm amazed she has not shredded the socks - so it must be the bass that she is not happy with, right?
I'm the second owner of this pair and the foam is pretty dry and brittle in all the ports. I'd like to replace the foam with something that meets the original specs, but have not found much info.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to replace the foam and retain the original specs?
