I went and listened to this amp and I was SHOCKED at how good this amp SOUNDED and not just for the price! This solid-state amp sounded more like a really good TUBE amp! I liked this amp better than the very very high priced Mcintosh amp I also heard there!... Add a good tube buffer and a better fuse and your be ready to go !...

I'm going to get one but I'm going wait and get it at one of the shows so I can get it at a much lower price.

Well when you do, be sure to give us at least a mini-review after you've lived with it in your home for awhile. I don't think you can go terribly wrong with any of the Anthem products, they're usually well designed and built.
I would look into it myself if it had an HT Bypass input.

Never heard any of their amps but I have a Anthem Pre 1L with a great built-in headphone amp (which is designed by Headroom). Good build quality with many features.

Would Paradigm speakers be most synergistic match with this amp?

They had the Anthem amp hooked up to Definitive Technology's new speakers that just came out the BP-8080ST and they was a very very good match sounding very tube-like......very lush and very three dimensional !...
