CBT36 surround idea

How about a 6 woofer version of the CBT36 with the same drivers?

Would be a pretty sweet desktop monitor as well.

It all depends on the angle of coverage desired and how far down in frequency you want to extend the directivity. It would be an interesting experiment.

I have read that a ground plane CBT in the roof would be a very good surround speaker. Do you thoughts about this Rick? And how low would such a design go? (course it should not be very big)

Yes, the roof/ceiling acts as a groundplane in reverse. The bass extension would depend upon what woofer is used.
