Hi ton1313. I recommend a Preamp UltraSonic 9 for each of the four small tubes and an original UltraSonic 35 for each of the four power tubes. If cost is no objective, go with ULtraSonic Rx Damping Instruments for all.
If you're getting a factory-new amp, it sometimes makes sense to hold off on damping instruments until the gear has broken in and you've become very familiar with your system. During break-in, sonic results might be like a roller coaster from day to day and it could be hard to assess the effect dampers would ultimately have on the tubes and overall system result.
No harm having damping instruments right at the get-go, though. With Herbie's 90-day trial period, you'll have plenty of time for your gear to break in and assess the UltraSonics.
