This year of 21 marks the 120th anniversary of Indian Motorcycles foundation, the first North America motorcycle company founded in 1901, an important manufacturer in the history of the motorcycle that created important characteristics of the motorcycle that are still used today as the V engine and the drop shape fuel tank.

Indian now owned by Polaris released a commemorative model named Indian Chieftain Elite to celebrate Indian 120th anniversary, only 120 units will be made starting at $34,999, as an unusual feature the rear cylinder is turned off at low rpm to decrease the heat of the 1900cc air cooled engine.

''We designed the Chieftain Elite for riders who want to turn heads and stand out” LOL :shake:
