Hey guys,
   I have a new Lite 7 with VC ( the Newport Beach Show special) and I am taking a survey to begin my USB cable search.  I am only asking Lampi owners what there favorites are in their system as I want to know from those more experienced than I what there final choice/choices was for this cable.  I have a generic USB cable now.  Of course, I know this is system dependent, and the usual disclaimer, so no need for someone to come on here and educate me on that, just looking for some ideas and light discussion.

My choice of USB cables would be the TotalDac D1. It's everything you want in a cable. Neutral, transparent, musical....

I've tried the Revelation Audio Labs dual conduit and although it's good it didn't compare to the TotalDac. The D1 is pricey at about $440 including shipping from France depending on the exchange rate but it's really a cable you can get and never search again.

Run to the accessories board and by the used Danacable for sale.  It has killed any cable in my system, with or without the Uptone Regen.  It's pretty amazing.

I'm happy with the mapleshade i've been using i think its only 150$. I'd even let you borrow it for the weekend if you wanted. I also use the Regen.

yup, I used the Mapleshade before I got the Regen but using them both together. Happy to let you use both. I have a few Phishing trips planned soon Happy to let you try out while I'm gone.  Message  me.

I have a Lampi L4G4 w/ Duelands & VC.  I had settled on the Wireworld Platnum as my reference. It was a very good/natural sounding cable (I believe mine is ver 6...up to 7 currently).  Late '14 I went to the Light Harmonic LightSpeed, split version. It uses a separate 'leg' for the power.  It's a little pricey but in my system it outperformed the WP noticeably. LH provides some good info on their website regarding their thought process behind the design.    Wireworld I believe separates their power line inside the molded cable which may be part of their success/performance.

What cables are you guys using with the USB Regen?

Corning Optical USB...but I have the GREEN original regen...Have not put in the Amber board yet, as I just got my $53 Chinese LPSU yesterday.

Anyone compare the Dana usb to the Verastarr usb ?
I know that the Dana was used in the past at shows with the Lampi but the Verastarr was used at RMAF

A PM would be fine ,instead of a post,if concerned about "stepping on toes"

IMO, I am not sure how you compare given the different systems involved.
