I received a very persuasive email just now from a supporter named Dennis. We have a vision here and I can't let Virtue lose its footing. We're still a "secret" company and crossing the $299 boundary on the base market is not going to help us get where we need to go.

So I've taken a bath or two or three on rework and engineering and production gone berserk. But you know what? If and when we figure this out we'll make money at $299 and that's where we need to be to have the category killing amp. If Larry David can still be lovable changing his mind a few times or three, so can this neorotic Jewish man.

So I'm happy to say that the original prices for the ONE and ONE.2 have been restored. Thanks to all of you for your candid feedback. You're my customers and business partners. Thank you.

PS - if you orderd an amp in the last 4 days, you just got a partial refund.

Seth No, there was no email notice, just the change noted on the 'my account' page. I guess the amp didnt actually ship yesterday, but usps got a notice to pick up the unit for shipping. if it ships today i imaginge that it would arrive here in Oregon on thurs or fri.
yes i will remember that the first hour or so the amp sound good, then roller coaster for the next several days. does burn in require that music be playing or just that amp is powered up? Dan

Burn in does not require music however it will be faster if you put some load on it, like music.

it really is small I could probally fit ten of them in my Rogue amp,
going to let it break in a couple of day's (maybe) before I listen,

If I order today, how long till they ship a "Classic" or "One.2"? Do they charge you now and then ship in 4-6 weeks OR just hold your order for you then charge the credit card when it is actually ships? Just curious....

Orders placed today for ONE.2s will ship within 2 weeks and we'll be shipping with 2-3 day latency around that time as well.
