Dreamland - her first an only CD (HDCD) is one of my favorites. I put her right up there with Patricia Barber, Holly Cole, and other top notch modern day jazz diva's.  No sign of her - anyone know if she is touring or going to release another album?

Yep, Stereophile's recording of the month, but I have not enjoyed a lot of their recommendations in the past.  Peyroux's first album was great!

the photo in stereophile is rather faded looking and the article didnt attract me at first, turns out its the album cover.  so i am reading the review article and i come here and see this thread.  what a co-inky-dink!  hope its on sacd but i wont hold my breath.

best buy and circuit city both have the cd, red trumpet and acoustic sounds do not.  INteresting.

perhaps i'll try amoeba in hollywood.
