Title: Silk AT Monitors in satin black - SOLD
Post by: jsalk on 6 Jul 2016, 07:08 pm: This is a pair of Silk AT Monitors featuring the RAAL ribbon tweeter and a pair of AudioTechnology mid-bass drivers. These drivers are from the same legendary Skanning family that brought you ScanSpeak and Dynaudio.

This higher sensitivity (87db) version of the Silk Monitors has a frequency response of 47Hz - 40kHz +/- 3db and is as smooth top to bottom as the original.

So we would have to order new woofers and they are not stocked by any US or Canadian distributor. So we would have to order them directly from AudioTechnology. This is no problem, but I can't say what their production time would be. They may be able to ship immediately, or it could take up to six weeks in production. In the past, they have quoted six weeks but shipped in about two weeks. But you never know.

As a person who owned a pair of Silk AT's I can say that if you're interested in these speakers it would be worth the wait. :thumb:
