I know it's difficult to tell without being in it - but just from the shape, dimensions, and the two openings?

Speakers are 626Rs with spiral tweets (marked as M for main) - right now they're sitting on top of my ACI Titan subs (not apart from them as in the picture) until my bearded stands arrive.

Honeycomb blinds on those 5 windows.

Have you tried wallpaper, and a nice throw rug?

Should be fine the way it is. For more bass mount the speakers on the far wall to the right of the couch, maybe 1-2ft out.

The shelves extend to the ceiling and are pretty full, so I think the walls are pretty well-treated as far as diffusion is concerned. Don't know about the ceiling though.

Trying the far wall - you mean the speakers with their backs to the windows? I admit this is the one setup I've never tried - but could be interesting.
