Title: Audio Concepts Inc line attenuators
Post by: SPL db on 14 Feb 2018, 01:56 pm
Greetings Everyone!

About a year and half to two years ago, I purchased a very nice set of ACI Jaguar 2000 speakers.  Got them from an audio friend of mine who was starting to get tinnitus and he didn't see the need to keep them if he couldn't appreciate them.

I'm looking for a pair of the ACI line attenuators.  My friend had a pair but was unable to find them.  He remembers that one quit working and he thinks that he may have tossed them.

I've been looking for a pair ever since I found the following article.

http://www.soundstage.com/revequip/aci_jaguar2000_followup.htm (http://www.soundstage.com/revequip/aci_jaguar2000_followup.htm)

Hoping someone can lead me to a set up for sale or help me decide on an equivalent replacement

I also have an ACI Titan II LE sub as well.

It will depend on your amp impedance but I do have a few that I am no longer able to use.  What type of amp do you have?    I had some made and made some so I could switch xo freq.  Here some are.

According to the article, the ACI attenuators roll off at 85Hz.

I am running a pair of Atma-Sphere M60 monoblock amps with these speakers.
