I am working on building a linux-pc-based 3-way loudspeaker system and currently looking for 6-channels of amplification.

I found these Yuan-Jing 4 channel amps. I wonder how two of these would work, powered by a single 12v 7A battery?

Price definitely falls in the cheap and cheerful category.

My system is going to be a hybrid between Richard Taylor's linux audio system and the Rational Audiophile's system.

Suggestions would be to short the inputs on the unused 2 channels.

You will probably need a bigger battery for long term use.  They are Class AB amps.

I have one to use with my DSP XO project for trials.  Using a 100Ah 12V AGM battery.

Next is to find a good heatsink.
