The Bryston active speakers were terrific sounding. I love the shape.

James, is this Moon audio the same vendor doing the MQA demo?

Moon by Sim Audio (proof of concept demo) - CanJam 61-62

Hi Drew

I posted your pictures and a customer asked if you were the one doing the MQA demos?
james

We have MQA via Tidal here.
Drew

So are you promoting MQA at the show as better?
James

Not better from sound quality but a better way to stream high Rez when you live in the sticks and have slower internet speeds.

So not better from sound quality, but definitely not high resolution either, and the filesize isn't that much smaller either. Maybe James could send around a few links to certain people?

James, just a suggestion for shows and demonstrations.
Stick to one size frontplate. Either 17 inch or 19 inch, don't mix them up.
This looks messy.

I agree and I usually do.  We planned to use the new 24B six channel amp at this active demo  but it was not ready in time. :duh:

Why do you put the Bryston speakers on the worst possible feet? (spikes)

These videos demonstrates in a pedagogical way, why you should not put speakers on hard feet

Great clip, I like Isoacoustic stands or Mapleshade Bedrock stands.

MEMO: To All Bryston Customers
SUBJECT: RMAF – Bryston Middle T Active Demo Oct. 2017

RMAF 2017 – Bryston Demo

Bryston for the show introduced and played the new BP-17 Cubed preamplifier.

In the system is the BDP-3/BDA-3 digital player and DAC.

The white (white is definitely the hit color at this show) Bryston Middle T active loudspeaker which has an outboard crossover/DSP component in the BAX-1.

And lastly the Cubed 2.5/3B amplifiers.

A must stop by for anyone at the show!

I'd love to crate it up and bring it all home.

Hi James,

We stopped at your room all three days, and every time the sound gets better, better, and better!

I had to ask Gary (who is doing a fabulous job by the way) today if there were really speakers in the room as I was visualizing the music instead.

Wow, that active cross-over takes those already fabulous Middle T’s to the next level.

I turned my head in disbelief of the realism and jumped out of my seat many, many times!

You and the Bryston team continue to amaze me.

Thanks!!

Best,
Marc

Not to bash you, but to me this is a ridiculous video.
Never ceases to amaze me how these audio gurus prove/promote audiophile tweaks and alleged real life game changing solutions by only talking about it. And doing so in a way every first class highschool student would grade a D.
Let alone cigarring his audience away...  :duh:

Cheers,
Marius

James,

Will the 24B six channel amp be at TAVES this weekend?
