I'm from between Flint and Lansing. Have separate audio and A/V systems, but audio has been my priority for the past 50 years. Am part of a small audio club whose members hale from Homer to Dearborn to me. There are bigger more formal clubs centered around Detroit, including the SE Mich club.
Always suggest reading Floyd Toole's "Sound Reproduction" (either edition) as the consummate audiophile primer to learning how loudspeakers and subwoofers behave in-room. Too many audiophiles neglect this aspect of home sound reproduction.
