Title: My Salk experience
Post by: Komoyuki on 23 Oct 2023, 12:57 pm
I know that I'm a bit late to the party. I've been following Salk for many years and all the recent events. The only thing I can say is congratulations Jim. What a run !!!

I have owned several speakers over the past few years. I was able to find localy an immaculate pair of Salk Song BeAT for an amazing price that I couldn't pass on. For the first time I understand what extension, depth and holography are. These BeAT fits my room and my electronics perfectly.

I simply wanted to share. Cheers!

Philippe

Thanks. They are very sensitive to placement. But I think I found the right spot. I've never heard the music like this before. Cliché I know. But there so many more layers to the music and a deep Soundstage. 🤜🤛

Hi,

I'm very happy with my speakers as well and the search is over. Now if I could just afford a Yamaha GT2000 and I'd be set.

Cheers Rod

It's a good thing you're not closer or you would buy his pair.  :D

Hey Dennis,   Any thoughts of using those BePure drivers in speakers of your own?  I would have loved to have tried that monitor version, but never pulled the trigger, and then the chance was lost.

Hi,

Dennis already uses purifi speakers in his HT speakers.

Cheers Rod

Randy may have been referring to using the Be dome with the Purifi.  If so, I have way too many models as it is.  Ordering cabinets and crossovers for all of those puppies with minimum order requirements (100 pieces) is a prescription for Chapter 11.
