I am going to have a pair of Ronins up in NY for their rave, at the end of this month. When will the next NE meet-up be?

You will be planning around their departure from New York. I plan on getting them to NY a few days before, and if they like what they hear, they can keep them for a few days longer, so, I'd expect them to be ready to ship to you guys around the first week of November.

Actually Zybar, I think your system would be great. Your room looks good and I love your amplifier. Not too framiliar with the TACT stuff, but I'd imagine it would be a pretty good showdown between the HT3's and the Ronins.

Which amp do you love?

I agree that it would be very cool to hear the Ronins and compare them directly to the HT3's.

I sold that amp back in the spring and currently have these amps:

BAT VK-600SE stereo amp

Dodd 120 mono amps

Impressive, I have heard the 250, but not the 600, I assume more of a good thing...

IMO it was much more transparent than the DNA-500.

Not sure on the dodd, havent heard it.

Been talking it over with George,

I'll talk to Topround, hosting the NY Audio Rave and see if FedEx can pick them up on Monday, that way you could possibly have a meet-up on the 4th, 11th or 18th. If you guys can put somthing together on one of those weekends, that would be outstanding.

Guys,

Due to all my traveling and general workload, I am not going to be able to host a gathering in November.

I let Paul know and he is going to try and arrange for the speakers to make it my way at the end of December when I will be off for a much needed vacation.

If somebody is able to host a gathering in the next few weeks, shoot Paul a message.

Otherwise, I hope to see some of you around the holidays.

Well,

I can give you an update, but I am not sure how far it will get us. George will probably be receiving the Ronins on the 3rd week of December.

At some point, unfortunately, they will have to be on their way, but at least we have something to plan around now!!!
