Looks like another good show!

We are moving to Seattle at the end of the year, and hope to enjoy more audio events in the area, as a retired person. PAF will be high on the list.

Bag is packed, thumb drive loaded and cooler also for the drive up tomorrow.

Still working on the list,  just putting a priority to my many entries.

I was at the Pacific Audio Fest 2024 this weekend in Seattle. I have to give Daedalus Audio my Gold Star for the best sound at the show, according to my ears. Their room had a magic in it that made me want to stay there listening to the tunes all day long. It was, in a word, musical. It was organic, effortless. I would describe it to people as like a warm audio hug, like a warm hug from your mom and it makes you feel like all is right in the world. Yet, all the dynamics were there when called for, all the clarity, all the separation, the spacing of instruments, soundstage, and on and on. After decades of upgraditis, I instantly connected with the sound and knew this could be a forever system.

I have been around long enough to know that the synergy of the components is vital to the presentation and the pairing of Daedalus with LTA and Wy Wires was so on point. I was at the show with 3 audio friends and 2 of us chose the Daedalus room as our favourite. While some of the larger, much more expensive systems would beat the Daedalus combination on a single aspect or two none, and I truly mean none, even came close to the total package or aural purity and enjoyment that this room produced.

I was gobsmacked and frozen in my chair, in pleasure. Thank you to all at Daedalus Audio for providing a remarkable audio experience.

What can I say but THANK YOU!!!!

Great write up! This succinctly describes my experience upon first hearing Lou’s speakers…in 2014, and purchasing a pair of Apollos a couple years later. My front end has gone through some changes in the time since my Apollos arrived, but I honestly have not once been tempted to replace them with another pair of speakers. Excellent job, Lou!
