Here is my very humble system. I am happy to say almost all of my system was either purchased used or demo. Guess I'm a cheap audiophile  :D.

Speakers: Cirrus Blacks - Sapelle Burl
Preamp: XSP-1 Gen 2
Amp: Pair XPA-1 Gen 1
DAC: iFi iDAC, iUSB Power, Gemini Cable
Cables: Mix bag of brands
PI Audio MiniBUSS
Acoustic Panels: DIY

Next moves will most likely be a new DAC and adding subwoofers. I currently have my HT sub in the space just so I could see if I liked the impact it had, but it will be going back to movie duty soon.

Dex, Is the Aaron Millennium 3 amp the one that dispatched your Wells amp? Is there a US distributor for the Aaron amp? Beautifully matched system, I covet the Nimbus' after hearing them at 2013 RMAF. Jeff Wells works magic on your Jolida preamp by the way. Happy listening!

Yes, the Aaron Millennium 3 amp replaced the Wells Innamorata. The soundstage became bigger, the instruments more defined in space. I don't know if there's a dealer or not, but I remember hearing Aaron integrated amp few years ago at an audiophile and I was very impressed. When I found the amp on Audiogon, i pulled the trigger right away. Couldn't be happier! The best $1600 I've ever spent on my system!
From your comments I assume that Jeff Wells modifies Jolida preamps...that might be the case, but I'm pretty happy with how my system sounds. :) Plus I'm getting really anxious when one component is away at the 'spa' to get repaired or modified, cause that means I can't listen to music! LOL!

The Aaron kept the uncanny ability of the Wells to portray tone color and rich harmonics a'la tubes, and great bass? What a find on Agon, I don't think there is a US distributor however.

Here's a system I just setup for a customer in South Carolina last week, you can see the speakers replaced.  The customers BMC CS2 amp is being repaired, so we had to put the Emotive into temporary service ... and even with that significant step down, he was thrilled with the overall sound.
