Fluance and Chane speakers

Staying true to the C&C spirit I'm always interested in equipment that may
be great for the money.  Right now I'm, looking for speakers that are
efficient and sound good for the money.  I'm using a Dayton Audio DTA-1
T-amp that I absolutely love for the the money.

Right now I own the Ascend Acoustics CBM 170's and JBL S530 speakers.
The Ascends don't do cymbals wells, but they do sound good and have a
good balanced sound overall.

The JBL are too forward for me and can sound good on the bottom, but I
think the bottom gets drown out by the highs.  Of course these are my
opinions in my system and in my setup so don't take my words as any
where near accurate descriptions.

As always listen to equipment in your own system and environment.  And
always give some time for break-in or your ears to adjust to the sound,
whichever philosophy you follow.

Now back to regular programming.  Has anyone had a chance to listen to
either the Chane A1rx-c or the Fluance SX6?  They both seem to have
good reviews and are intriguing to me.

I have not.  But in the C&C category, I would certainly want to recommend the Philharmonic Audio Affordable Accuracy Monitor (modified Pioneer SP-BS22-LR) @ $165 + shipping and my own used Quad 11L @ $275 + shipping.
