Hawthorne Audio Duet's in Black FS

OK this is the last piece of gear I will be selling for a while (hopefully) :oops:  I have made a deal on a pair of Alpha LS's which I have wanted for quite a while now.  So I am Selling my Duets.  These come with three sets of binding posts, are black in color (follow link below for pictures) and come with a parts express 240 watt into 4 ohm plate amp for the Augie's.  VERY good speakers for the money, I have about $1,400.00 in them and am open to ALL reasonable offers.  They come with original boxes manuel etc., they are about two months old and are not even broken in yet.  Here is the link to pictures.

These are open baffle speakers for those who aren't familiar with them.

Wish I had the cash, I really want to give the Hawthornes a try some day. More than likely DIY.

You said in another thread these sound good, but not your cup of tea. What didn't you like about them?

Your new speakers look like they will truly be something special.

It's more that the Alphas became available and I have wanted them for some time now.

Guy - you still up for hearing the LS-6?  I wouldn't mind hearing the Hawthorns if we could get together on a day and time....not sure how big a pain it would be to transport the Hawthorn's ....I know exactly how big a pain it would be to move the LS... :lol:

I would love to hear them, in the mean time I have made a deal to purchase a pair of Alpha LS's so I need to move the Hawthornes.

Great move on the Alpha's, they never disappoint... :thumb:

I'll probably try to pull a get together for next weekend, still 4 or 5 guys who wanted to hear the 6's and couldn't make it until after the holidays...
