Philharmonic Affordable Accuracy speakers

Just got them in, unhooked the HT3's and have the towers hooked up now.

Pretty damn unbelieveable how these sound compared to the price.

They don't hold a match much less a candle to HT3's, but for a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the price they are pretty damn fantastic.

Listening to Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City now and am really blown away. Having listened to the same on HT3's many times I can obviously notice lots of bits that the HT3's can resolve and reproduce that these cannot. Tim's slide on the guitar seems to float on the air through the room with HT3's, with these its there but its a little harder to put your finger on the little things.

All that said, if I hadn't heard the same on truly amazing speakers like high end Martin Logan's and HT3's I'm not sure how much I would be missing.

Pretty floored how much Dennis can make out of so little though. He's like audio McGuyver  :P

Thanks for the report, Grant.  Now good luck on the sale of the house!
