Introduction and First Post

Hi,

UK based Bryston and PMC speakers based system, Innuos Statement from end, lots of Shunyata bits and pieces.

BR-20, mine has a ground/earth point, this is not shown on any manual I have seen, nor on the Bryston BR-20 webpage?

4B cubed, mine does not have the breaker switch as shown in the manuals I have seen and the Bryston 4B cubed webpage?

Could the documentation be updated please?

I have today assumed that the ground/earth point is chassis grounding and connected it to my Shunyata Denali CGS point. I hope this is correct?

Thanks

Graham

Hi Graham

Welcome sir.
All the new amplifiers have gone to fuses instead of circuit breakers for a variety of technical reasons.
The ground post is for the internal Phono stage if installed.

best

Thank you.

I am interested as to why some manufacturers include a grounding point and others don’t?

Is there a technical reason?

Has anybody out there experimented with grounding products with their Bryston kit?

I’d be interested in their experiences.

Thanks
