Good deal - those solid state Marshall kind of stink.
How is his playing progressing?

The old Marshall was not bad...especially for the $250 he paid for it, but the new one has a nice liquid midrange and a clean top end and a jump factor the Marshall could not match. He wants a Vox AC30C2 but that was really beyond his price range.
His playing is coming along...but I wish he would branch out...He likes SRV and Hendrix. I tell him to hook up with other musicians, but he does not know anyone. I hope he makes some connections this coming school year.  Greg

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
