Title: Is there different versions of the Ultrarendu
Post by: sresener on 8 Jun 2019, 10:41 pm
I found a local used ultrarendu for sale. I wanted to know if there are different hardware versions available, if there is what should I be looking for.

Thank you

There are various Rendu Models. Go to the sonore website and the audiophile style forum for a ton of info.
I have the ultra and love it. I highly recommend the Uptone Audio UltraCap LPS 1.2 Power Supply.
Good luck and enjoy the music.

They just released what they call the Optical Rendu, it uses a Optical Network connection rather than a RJ45 type of connection. It uses the same case as the UltraRendu. So technically there is only one ultra.
