Just curious to know if any of you that take some type of probiotic if your seasonal allergies or allergies in general decreased?
What's stopped my allergies is no longer eating wheat and other whole grain products. If I have much wheat at all, my allergies come back, as do various aches, chest congestion, and other symptoms. I'm testing einkorn wheat, which is an "ancient" grain (with 14 chromosomes compared to the 42 or 46 current wheat has). I haven't reached a conclusion about it, though. I haven't been able to eat enough of it to test correctly.
If you're interested, "Wheat Belly" is a good book on this subject. I don't agree with some of his conclusions, but the subject is interesting. So interesting, that my family is trying to be wheat free to the extent possible.
