upgrading Pro Amps for more of a HiFi sound
« on: 10 Sep 2021, 04:58 pm »
back in the year 2001-2002 i was in high school and interned at an amplifier company, AB international or Amplified Design. they gifted me an amp after i left for collage my second year, ab international 1100a. Its old but was built like a tank, large toriodal transformer and power caps, independent amp boards, balanced inputs, 2 channel 525 watts at 8 ohms, 1100 watts at 2 ohms per channel. i am currently using it as my power amp for the R/L main channels. it there a way or what are some of the tweaks that i can do to make it sound better?

i have the board schematics and repair manual and thought it might be fun to see if i could upgrade it.
