Looks like some price cuts are coming

Looks like some price cuts are coming - the PS3 as well as the XBox 360.

The PS3 will apparently drop to $500 and the XBox to $350. Meanwhile the Wii is the same price and hard to get.

I occasionally play a few games of Halo 2 against whoever happens to be online - after all Halo rankings were reset to 0 I have managed to climb back to a 7 and enjoy the 2 new maps. It helps to have a 40" screen and a nice surround system  8)

I finally looked for and found some tips on melee and sword lunging (xbx, etc.) that give me a few more skills.

Network inequalities frustrate my desire for a perfectly level playing field at all times, but it seems to even out over time. The Bungie/MS folks at least seem to pay attention and try to make the experience better whenever they can.

The price cut is what my feeble brain needed to stand in line at the BR camp. They also have a 5 Free movie promotion for all new BR players purchased between something and something. The form is on the corporate homepage. I'm very happy so far but have only watched Apocalypto and Pirate's of the Caribbean.

The HD-DVD player for the XBox is now $179 with 5 free movies.

I am just not motivated to get any HD movies at this point - not interested in the premium prices and my TV will only do 1080i.

Amazon has it now for $329.99

"Dude, that's only $80 more than a Wii! And, well, let's be honest here, it's way better. "

This article details rumored PS3 price cuts that are sure to stimulate some PS3 console buying and further XBox cuts

I shudder to think that I may have 2 or even 3 under-utilized consoles in my future   :duh: But then, they could keep my old PCs company
