Clayton seems to be involved in the repair and maintenance of the legacy speakers. He told me there were replacement parts in stock or available. I didn't dig down as to whether it was him or Whitt or combination but it gave me assurance. I have X3s.

I actually purchased a spare amp from Clayton last summer for my X5s just in case.  I plan on keeping these for a very long time as they are superb in my opinion so wanted some peace of mind.  The one potential issue is he did mention the 12 inch mid was no longer made by Eminence and wasn't sure of future availability due to Covid.  I had a slight scare when I noticed that one of my 12 inch mids dustcap was dented (not sure how that happened) but was able to pull it back out with some tape so no issues.  Fortunately, there is probably almost no risk of that driver ever failing especially since it does not reproduce bass below 90hz.
