Which Herbie's for Power Conditioner?
« on: 1 Nov 2017, 01:10 pm »
I have my Torus RM-15 Plus sitting on a dual level platform.  The bottom is a 3" Maple block with Herbie's superior Spikes going through the carpet to the floor.  The second level will be a 2" bamboo block that the Torus will sit on.

What should I use between the Maple block and the bamboo block?
What should I use between the Torus and the bamboo block?

No one seems to be answering your post , so I thought I would give it a try .
I feel fairly confident with my knowledge of Herbies products . I think there fantastic and great value too !

I went on the Torus site to see how heavy your unit was . It is over the 40 lb recommendation for 4 soft Tenderfoots , so between the Torus and Bamboo Block I would go 6 Soft Tenderfoots and maybe make them the Tall version for a  bit more damping of vibration .
Between the Bamboo Block and the Maple Block I would use 4 X  Extra Thick (3.2 mm )Grungebuster Dots 40 mm Diameter .
All the Best . John ( Australia )

I have a BIT 15 and used the tall tenderfeet and did not like the results.  Lost air between instruments and vocals.
