The Theta product doesn't use the nc1200 but rather seems to use the new lower power Hypex ncore oem module like NAD.

I know, I am the one that started the thread.

It just seems odd that Theta, Rogue, Merrill, and a few others can continue to bring out new products in their line based on Ncore technology while Mola-Mola doesn't.

Mola-Mola is basically Bruno's side business or hobby. It doesn't seem to be a priority for him. I doubt there is any deep or significant reason why they aren't bringing all sorts of amp variations to market. From Bruno's past comments, it seems they are focusing on the be-all, end-all dac to be released in 2015.

The Prometheus gets a very positive review in the latest Stereophile (Class A recommendation, superb measurements and all).
And all that with just a linear PS.
