Aegir 2 is coming, some time this month, according to Jason.

Changes are 25/50/100 WPC. Halo*. Output impedance ~ 0.8 ohms / damping factor ~10 and something about the an output stage with twice as many output devices and reminiscent of Tyr without the choke whatever all that means.

*Halo, Jason says, will be controversial.  If I understand correctly it was first introduced in the new Midgard headphone amp

Only bad news, everything I dont what are more output transistors and a cheap Toroidal transformer.

Chief engineer:
-With a bad design and cheap components we managed to achieve 12% distortion. Our customers will love it.
Marketing manager:
- There is missing some golden details, a chic name, a Special Edition on the face plate, our logo and we can launch it for an irrational price.
