looking for some suggestions on a Matched Pair of NOS 6BM8/ECL82s
-Prefer 1950s/60s era
This is for an Eastern Electric BBA: Booster Buffer Amp
I love this kit, it only has 2 knobs: Volume and Gain
Ive done a lot of web research, but wanted to ask for input
Im leaning toward a pair of
1. Amperex/Philips Holland with the Disc Getter and the dozen dimples
2. Siemens or RCA, made by Siemens in Germany by Siemens [not Telefunken}
3. Matsushita Japan
I like detailed and dynamic sound quality but also with a very natural tone
(previously, I had a pair of NOS Matsushita's which I really liked)
