FS: DIY First Watt F5

For Sale is my DIY FW F5.  This one is built following the general principles of what Peter Daniel did on diyaudio.com back around 2009/2010.  The highlights include:

Dual Mono PS with Plitron Transformers
Nichicon Gold Tune and Jensen 4 Pole Caps in PS
Caddock, Mills, Panasonic, Riken resistors in the amp circuit
Front Panel Express - Front and Rear Panels

Warning - This is currently built without the protection circuitry or thermal compensation.  If you short the outputs, you will smoke the output resistors.  I will include a set of spare unpopulated boards if you'd like to build buy the parts for the fully protected version.

Terms - This is a DIY amp, while I've had great success with it running high efficiency speakers (ie, no noise), I can't guarantee how it will run in your system.  This is sold as-is.

Price - Less than the cost of the parts, $800 plus shipping (probably $75 CONUS only). Local Pickup is an option (19810). Split paypal fees.

Pics below, more available upon request.

The pictures are hosted on google, but they still don't show up when I'm logged into google. No graphic filename.

Please upload the pictures to your AudioCircle gallery.
Thanks

Yeah, I transitioned (by force) from Picasa to Google Photos, and while I can see the photos, I guess others cannot.  I'll fix it up tonight.  Thanks - Dan

Wow! Agreeing with the others here, that is a great build. No wonder no one wants to buy my f4.

Good luck with the sale. :thumb:
