I've been trying to make some extra belts for my Amadeus.  Miraculously, I managed to make a good one right away, but I can't seem to replicate the process.  The polyester thread has a mind of its own.  Any advice for maintaining control of the thread while I tie the knot?  Thanks.

I assume you have a jig built?
I've tied several, and yes it is tricky. But with patience I got them tied up and ready to go. I don't have any tips, except to say I think it is what it is...a dexterity test 

But I'm interested to see if anyone else has a better way to do it.
