Both purchased right before Xmas and are wyred4sound 200sx One was upgraded by wyred 4 sound and the other is regular. The upgraded cost $799 + $400 upgrades and the other $799 = $2000. I would sell them both for $1400 . Unless someone can explain if the upgrading to a larger more powerful amps would make that much of a diffderence sonically on my speakers if not I keep them. aa

Interesting.

I have the same speakers, and although they have a fairly high sensitivity, I think they benefit from lots of power. In fact, I use an Emotiva LPA-1 to power my T2's (125 wpc) and I recently demoed a very similar Emotiva amp (same topology) with 200 wpc, and the 200 watter exercised better control of those carbon fiber woofers. Bass was tighter. I also got a little more clairty and refined sound, perhpas due to the greater headroom. Differences were somewhat subtle, but easily discernable.
