For those of you coming from a Mac Mini to an Aries, what do you see as improvements both in UI and sound quality (if any)?  I am currently using a battery powered Mac Mini (using PI Audio Battery Buss), I am running the latest version of Audirvana+.  I have the USB output from the Mini going to an Auralic Vega DAC via a TotalDac USB cable, my Flac and DSD files are stored on a external Oyen HDD connected via Firewire.  I love the sound and haven't been able to find anything better, however the UI leaves a bit to be desired.

Sonically I like the ARIES better in every regard.

I have to agree. The Aries would be a logical step up in performance as well as UI. Oh, and your Totaldac USB Cable/Filter works great on the Aries also!
