My anthem receiver sounds hollow in Dolby digital and DTSX. The place where I purchased it the guys said it’s because of the way I’m trying to stream into it that’s causing it not to sound right. They have suggested that I buy a Apple TV streamer. At this point all I know is, I am driving myself crazy trying to make it work properly. Please help

What are you using for your sources?
What speakers and how many?
Do you have speakers set up correctly?
Need more info to try and help.
