Title: USB driver
Post by: rustydoglim on 26 Dec 2018, 06:58 pm
A new driver has been released that makes installation much easier.  If you have already installed the previous driver and everything is working, there is no need to update to this new driver.

This driver supports Signed Driver Enforcement and the following Operating systems:
Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)

Note:
Windows XP is no longer supported.
Install hotfix KB3033929 for Windows 7

It is only for Windows Signed Driver Enforcement compliance.

Thank you Jason. Where the previous driver for Windows 10 on my laptop was a problem, this one downloaded perfectly and everything hooked up right away. Audirvana is now using Asio instead of Wasapi. Thankyou. :D

64-bit versions of Windows 10 and 8 include a “driver signature enforcement” feature.
if you disable this function ... all the drivers should work ..... or not?

You don't need to disable the driver signature enforcement. Either way it will work.
