Since her 70th birthday was yesterday, playing her latest album seems appropriate.

Recorded in 1963 they were 14 and 18 respectively, and already masters of the Blues guitar. I bet Clapton didn't even know what I IV V meant at 14. An exaggeration but you know what I mean.

It's 1981, you're visiting Chicago. You hear that Muddy Waters is playing in a small joint on the Southside. Since that's not a real big deal in the Windy City, you decide to check it out. Much to your amazement the Rolling Stones show up, along with Buddy Guy, Junior Wells and Lefty Diz. That's what happened. Can you imagine?

Recorded in the '20's, it's not exactly an audiophile recording, in fact it can be down right hard to listen to. But, how do know where you're going if you don't know where you've been?

Recorded in 1961 and a whole lot easier to listen to than the above. Available on MOG, you might want to check it out if your interested in women who sing the Blues and tuba.
