This thread has caused me to inspect my system in greater detail.  In doing so I discovered that my SACD player is 25 mm narrower and, get this, a different color than my BP26.  Do I sue Bryston or Esoteric  :scratch:. :?

Ok listen up!!...I just went thru Mcdonalds drive thru and was only charged for a small coke,but they had no small coke cups-so they instead gave me a large coke for no extra charge.........you see i really like the look-feel of the small coke cup in my hand and thats all i wanted...............I am calling my lawyer,cause i dont think they are allowed to give me a "Better" unit to replace the old one LOL..  :eyebrows:

Ha. IIRC he has a long history of botched repairs on that unit. Something went terribly wrong, it happens once in a while to all companies/products and there's no easy way out of the spiraling exasperation this can bring.....

But it doesn't dim out which can be a real eye sore in a HT environment.... that's what he was complaining about.... not the brand of the display....
