Title: de capo-i with Pathos Classic One MKII
Post by: dspringham on 16 Dec 2006, 03:33 am
Having experienced this speaker with tube gear (presently using PrimaLuna Prologue One), has anyone used or heard this combination?
If so, any synergy? Comment please.

Haven't heard your speakers, but owned the MkII & now owner of Mk III Pathos.  One of the best amps I've heard overall, esp above the bass range.  About as close to faultless as you'll hear.  The III is a good upgrade from the II.  I haven't used the Pathos fullrange, but rather above 260 Hz.

Do watch out for system sensitivity.  I'm suspicious the Pathos' input sensitivity is lower than spec, but I could be wrong.  On my Comcast DVR I've been on the edge a few times.  Been as reliable as a stone.
