Very, very close pick, but the Giants, especially ATS.  Both defenses and both offences have improved dramatically at the end of the season and in the playoffs.  However the Pats stats were inflated a bit with the Denver game.  Brady has the passer rating advantage, 105.6 to 94.6, which has been a very good predictor for games all year, thus the 3 point spread for the Pats.  But with Gronkowski limited, his options in the passing game are as well.  So the combination of Giants front four, more versatile running game (even if for fewer yards), and NE's inability to stop good teams in the 4th quarter, Giants.   

I hate both teams so the most favorable result would be a 0-0 tie called on account of ineptitude sometime early Monday morning.

I figure Giants by 7 or more.  These games almost always get out of hand.

I think this will be a close one and come down to the final minutes....I just have that feeling....so if I'm right I'm amazing!!! If I'm wrong I'm just a bum!!!!    LOL....enjoy I just hope I don't fall asleep during the "comprehensive" pregame shows.......

Both of these teams are capable of inexplicable, monumental collapse. Patriots are more consistent. I'm betting on them.

Rationally thinking I see a few clear advantages for the Giants, pass rush vs. o-line, and their receivers against the Pats mish mash of d-backs. If the Pats can run the ball well, and run the hurry-up and keep the Giants on their heels, they have a shot. It' s so hard to know what offense will show up. I do think Belichick will be able to confuse Manning, but that might not matter with the match ups in their favor. Being a lifelong Pats fan I am loath to lose again to the Giants, but that being said I won't begrudge a victory to any Giants fan. I've been stressing out about this all week!
