Is the 3XX model the one with the real thick cocobolo

platter you had at MAF?

Have you tried a cocobolo mat to go over a vinyl platter yet? If so how did it sound. If not, will you be doing one?

Yup the 3xxx will use the same 4" platter that I had at MAF.

Here is a sneak preview of what it may look like.

I have not tried the cocobolo mat idea yet. Keeping it flat may be a challenge. Still in the
thinking stage.

At least for now I am going to shelve the idea. I talked with my dad and we don't
think that it will be possible to make a mat that will be both thin and also not warp.
