I recently aquired a modern, solid state (mosfet) amplifier that has a grounding post available on the back. Despite being in the hobby for awhile, this is a first for me. None of my other components have a grounding post.
Is it possible for me to utilize that grounding post in some way? Connect with small wire to preamp chassis or other spot? Is there any harm or benefit one way or another in experimenting? I've long had a small hum from the speakers, nothing substantial, and thought maybe this might be a fix.
Thanks for any info you can provide!
