Ran across this earlier and don't know if it belongs in cinema but it does have implications here.

These things are really hot.  Makes my LCD Monitor look huge.  Also I could use one for my Pocket PC.  It has decent battery life but it could use some more especially with how I will be using it in the next couple of years.

Just take a look at the pictures and I think you will agree that these could be the next big thing.

I'd love to have one for my 'puter. Then I could get rid of this damn huge CRT.

I wonder if they're going to have size limits on them? If not that could put a hurt on the Plasma monitor market...

In five or so years, there will not be a plasma market because of these.

The eventual dream is a roll down 10 foot screen of these with no projector necessary.  Viewable in a lit room.  That is probably 10-15 years off though.
