In the installation guide for vertical corners it says measure up 24" from the floor, etc. etc.  

Does it assume an 8 foot wall to dictate the 24" or is it the same regardless of height?  As an example my vertical corners are 10' long, would I be measuring 36" up from the floor to ensure the rectangle is placed midway up the wall/corner.  Thanks for any help.

I prefer using the 24" guideline regardless of the height of the ceiling.  This ensures that the bottom of the product is below the level of the ear when listening.
