I will be there on Saturday.

What exhibitors will be there?  I believe Bob Brines is going.

Trung, are you willing to un-sticky the two LSAF 2010 topics at the top of this circle?  No doubt there will be lots of 2011 stuff coming soon.

I will be making the long diagonal trek from Idaho, with wife and speakers.  We're really looking forward to it!

Jim Harrell of Jumping Cactus Loudspeakers contacted me yesterday and said he won't be able to make it this year.  Jim has been a regular for years, but he won't be able to take off work for the needed time unfortunately.

We don't get room numbers in advance, so... I guess you'll just have to make the rounds!

Duke, if you take the route down 287 then you will pass right by my house. I am in Iowa Park, TX and that is about 2 hours North West of Dallas near the Oklahoma Border. Feel free to stop off here for lunch or dinner either way by if you like. I am easy to reach via the GR Research number.

I wish to have a meet with you to discuss things.

Thanks,

Thank you very much, Danny!  That is very kind of you.   If it's not in the wee hours or something, I will certainly give you a call.

You know, there are a bunch of speaker designers I admire.  There are a handful whose innovation and precision intimidate me.  You're the one who does so with the biggest smile.

I have been covered up this year like you can't imagine, and really have not even had time to think about that show.

Plus my good buddy Gary Dodd (my exhibiting buddy) is really not up to it right now.

And one of my clients (Carnegie Acoustics) now has me going to Capital Audio Fest and Axpona in New York. And I just got back from Axpona in Atlanta. So I am about showed out right now.

If I can get away then I might be able to run down there for a few hours on Saturday.

Duke, you make me smile.  :green:

Sounds good.

A few of us will be at Art's place on Thursday evening once we landed so if you could, come on down.

I'll be driving down from St Louis and bringing a pretty nice setup to show.  I have a pair of Cirrus with quite a few upgrades that will be playing, Amorphous Core RAAL, V-Cap OIMP with Copper Teflon Bypass, and a few other things.  George at Morningstar is letting me bring his loaner Eastern Electric M88 tube integrated with Black Beauty KT88's and Siemens Silverplate 12AU7's.  Computer audio will go through the new MHDT USBridge into an Eastern Electric MiniMax.  It's a relatively modest setup that sounds fantastic, hard to beat for the $$$.

I'm trying to throw together a couple subs to bring as well, and integrate with the MiniDSP ... just because I'll have more room in the car, why not.  I have the drivers and plate amps here, just gotta get to work  :D

This will be my first time at LSAF, so what's going on afterward on Fri and Sat evening?  I'd love to hang out with some guys and toss back a few cold ones.

Hi TurboFC3s,

Those are some gorgeous-looking speakers.  I look forward to hearing your rig.  (I'm only there during Saturday, otherwise I'd chug some brews with you and the other folks.)

Haha, sorry Bill.  I also write for a Golf magazine, and I'm doing a course review for a course where the GM's name is George.  I was probably talking to him while posting that reply

You know, I've actually been thinking for some time about trying one.  I've been pc based audio for some time, DAC right into my amp ... and have been wondering if the buffer would do anything for me.  I'd love to try it out if possible.

Hi Trung,

I volunteer to update the LSAF web site.

Snag my logo off my website, www.vaporsound.com

You should also put Eastern Electric down on the exhibitors page, since I'll have their amp and DAC.  Also my full system will be cabled by Downside Audio, including some 97% silver/3% gold speaker cables.

Hi TurboFC3S,

My offer of webmastering stands but I don't have any access right now to the site.  So it's just an offer at the moment.  Maybe I can talk to the powers that be at the show.
