Hello everyone, I am glad to be joining as there seems to be much knowledge here.
I am just starting out in the world of hifi but coming with nearly 30 years of electric guitar gear obsession.
I have an engineering background and a staunch DIY mentality. I also studied music in college.
I began putting together my first sound system this year from bargain purchases and looking to build my own speakers.
In particular, open baffle fascinate me and I picked up a pair of Megnepan MG10 QR which need a little work.
I have just begun to dabble in speaker measurement and crossover design.
